3 Simple Web 2.0 Strategies for Blogging Success
Are you looking for blogging success? Then web 2.0 strategies absolutely need to be in the equation. The thing is, new social networking sites spring up all the time which can make the process overwhelming. Here’s a way to get the most out of it with the time you have.
Strategy #1 – Choose One Larger Network
There are a few larger sites you can use. Choose one to save time instead of using them all.
• LinkedIn
• Facebook
• Myspace
Personally, I believe Facebook is the best especially if you plan to do any marketing with your blog.
Strategy #2 – Do some microblogging
I have to be honest. When I first signed up for twitter, I promptly logged off. I said, how could I possibly say anything in such little space? I didn’t return again until one month later until someone explained it to me.
Twitter is a very efficient web 2.0 site. Since you don’t have long to say what you need to say, you can accomplish a lot in just a few minutes.
The magic with the site is building up a list of loyal followers who like what you have to say. Converse and reply to them. Share bits of information about your life. That way, when you do share a link to a post or your blog, more people will click.
Strategy #4 – Join a Social Bookmarking Site
Another part of web 2.0 is something called “Social Bookmarking”. Possible sites include:
However, to save time, only choose one. These are sites that allow you to share links with your friends and the whole network. You can share your own links, but it is also good practice to share websites, blogs, and articles written by others.
Web 2.0 can really help increase your blogging success. And the good part is it only takes a few minutes each day to do.
